History of TAA
The Association traces its roots to the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture (ICTA), Trinidad. Alumni of the college formed the ‘ICTA Association’ in the mid-1970s. Subsequently, in 1979, the association was renamed the Tropical Agriculture Association and was constituted in the UK. TAA membership has since broadened to include those interested in various aspects of agricultural development worldwide. Read the story of TAA’s evolution from the early days up to 2015, prepared by Elizabeth Warham and Jim Watson, under the title: Thirty five years of history for the Tropical Agriculture Association (TAA).
