|Duraisaminathan started his career with Atkins, in 1993, in an EU funded Tank Irrigation Systems Project as water resources specialist. He worked with various projects till 2005 in India on behalf of Atkins and other organisations then moved to UK Atkins office.
Duraisaminathan has been working with donor funded development projects for more than 22 years in a wide range of sectors including agriculture, water resources, river basin management, irrigation, water supply and sanitation, environment and rural and urban development. He has been working mostly with the European Union aided Projects but also experienced in World Bank and DFID funded projects.
His country experiences include, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Egypt, Timor Leste, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Rwanda, UK and Tanzania
