|45 years of tropical and sub-tropical land development and crop production both in the public and private sector with a strong environmental improvement element. Major projects managed for:
1/The Tanzania government in Kitulo -Southern Highlands (FAO funded sheep and wheat scheme)along with agri-machinery training for local co-operatives.
2/ organized the machinery team on part of The Tendaho Cotton project in The Danikal,Ethiopia subsequently the machinery on the whole project (15,000 hectares of hand picked cotton)
3/ Field machinery management on new development areas for Iranshellcott in Kuzistan Iran (8,500Ha) along with 3,000 Awasi sheep and organization of alfalfa drier, grain cleaning and drying complex and installation of acid delinting seed cotton unit.
4/ New agricultural project development and consultancy work in The Copper Belt of Zambia
5/ 3 years farm management in Fife Scotland
6/7 years as Agricultural development Associate with Night Frank & Rutley(Nigeria) working with major UK based companies developing local farms specializing in crops for local industrial production as well as running a series of crop protection training programmes on behalf of ODA (UK Government)
7/ 3 years as Field manager of The UK funded Kaduna crop protection school in Kaduna (Northern Nigeria)
8/ 5 years as crop extension manager and project manager of the EU funded Lowland oilpalm project in The Niger Delta
9/ 5 years as agricultural co-ordinator and MD of Okomu Oilpalm Company (10,000ha of oilpalm & 5.000Ha of rubber) near Benin in Nigeria
10/2 years as manager of Weala Rubber Factory in Liberia exporting high grade crumb rubber.
11/ European funded project officer for coastal path development in Fife, Scotland and briefly Head Ranger for Fife Coast & Countryside Trust.
